boston—Kelliher Samets Volk has hired Tom Holmes to oversee new-business development in the newly created position of senior brand manager.

Separately, in ad-vance of Holmes’ arrival, the Burlington, Vt.-based shop has added assignments from ski company Dynastar, specialty-foods marketer Dakin Farms and the Coalition for Tobacco-Free Vermont. Combined spending is in excess of $1 million.

KSV senior management be-lieves bringing Holmes aboard will help the shop maintain its momentum and help it build business at its fledgling Boston office.

“He brings incredible organization and capabilities to business development,” said Yoram Samets, managing director of KSV, which notched 25 percent gains in billings and revenue in 2001 to $36 million and $5 million, respectively.
