Chief Auto Parts here has launched a five-spot national television campaign via KWGC Advertising & Design.
The ads are the first from the Dallas agency since it won the client’s broadcast creative account earlier this year. Media buying is handled by the Dallas and Los Angeles offices of Western International Media.
Chief’s switch to KWGC ended a 16-year relationship with DavisElen Advertising of Los Angeles.
Campaign billings were undisclosed. Chief’s vice president of advertising, Kenny Cason, has said the retailer plans to spend $6 million on broadcast ads in 1998 [Adweek, Feb.
