Since its beginnings in 1997, Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners’ San Francisco office has watched the buzz dissipate. But the agency is hoping to regain momentum (and capitalize on a re-energized Bay Area) by broadening its West Coast offerings.

The shop has opened a branch of its 4-year-old below-the-line arm, LIME Public Relations + Promotions, in San Francisco. The opening comes on the heels of a number of new assignments for LIME, such as Chela Education Financing, a promotional project for Sparks (an alcoholic energy drink) and an event series for BBC America, which is a client of the agency.

The MDC Partners shop is hoping to capitalize on these assignments to procure even more business on the West Coast, according to Claudia Strauss, president of LIME in New York.

“It’s been an amazing four years for LIME,” Strauss said.
