Martin/Williams Lands Canadian Boot Marketer
CHICAGO–Looking to increase its presence in the U.S. market, Canadian boot marketer Kaufman Footwear moved its $8-10 million account across the border to Martin/Williams in Minneapolis, capping a three-month review.
The Kitchener, Ontario-based company also heard final presentations from two other agencies, incumbent Brandworks International in Toronto and W.B. Doner & Co.’s Southfield, Mich., and Toronto offices. Although it was the lone finalist without a Canadian presence, Martin/Williams is not expected to open an office in Canada to service the account.
