NEW YORK Pfizer has selected Publicis Groupe’s Kaplan Thaler Group to handle creative duties for its Celebrex pain relief brand, the client has confirmed. Billings are estimated at $80 million.

The decision came after a three-month review in which the finalists were Havas’ Arnold and Kaplan Thaler, both in New York. Kaplan Thaler in July won creative duties on the client’s Zoloft brand after a review.

Dorothy Wetzel, vice president of U.S. consumer marketing for Pfizer, confirmed hiring Kaplan Thaler but declined further comment.
