NEW YORK Jeffrey Wolf, who left Deutsch here in November, has joined Publicis Groupe-owned The Kaplan Thaler Group in the new position of managing director, strategic planning.

Until a month ago, Chris Wauton had been the senior planner at the New York shop. He was the director of planning for about three years until leaving to restart an eponymous consultancy.

An agency representative said Wauton was key to numerous wins, including the Outback Steakhouse and Pfizer accounts.
