JWT Names Stranger As New L.A. Manager

Peter Stranger last week joined J. Walter Thompson’s office here as executive vice president and general manager.
Stranger previously was a managing partner at Bozell Worldwide’s office in Costa Mesa, Calif., where he headed the agency’s Taco Bell Group. He left Bozell in August, at the same time that True North Communications announced its intention to acquire the agency.
Stranger was appointed by JWT chief executive officer Chris Jones.
“We had been talking on and off for over a year,” Stranger said.
