Judith Lieber Ad Is Star-Studded
For its third flight of Judith Lieber ads, breaking this fall, Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners in San Francisco wanted to add to its traditional consumer base a younger, hipper audience. So ads shot by Jessica Craig Martin show jet-setter Ivana Trump on a plane with rapper Nelly and actress Nia Long. The aim: to bring together fans of Lieber's bejeweled purses with those who would covet her new lines of shoes and daywear. Nelly's 6-carat diamond studs helped the celebs bond. "When [Ivana and Nelly] met, she said, 'Nice earrings, dahling,'" said KB+P co-chair Richard Kirshenbaum. "'I love your earrings. Ivana wants to trade with you.' His earrings were bigger than hers."
