DALLAS–Agency veterans Don Belken and Steve Arters and former television sales manager Rick Joppie have pooled resources to form a new San Antonio advertising agency.

Joppie Belken Arters (JBA) opened earlier this month with retainer clients including North Park Lincoln Mercury, North Park Lexus, Stabilizing Technology of Texas and project work for the Big 12 Conference and HBO Sports.

The client roster got a jump-start from Belken, creative director for the fledgling agency. Belken handled North Park and Stabilizing Technology–a foundation repair company–through his previous company, Whitetail Advertising.

Whitetail’s business was rolled into JBA and combined with project work secured by Arters.

Joppie, a former local sales manager for KENS-Channel 5, San Antonio, is president of the new shop.
