Austin, Texas-based SicolaMartin has appointed Jeff Joiner senior art director on the BMC Software and Freescale Semiconductor accounts. Joiner previously worked in the same role at The Strausberg Group in Santa Monica, Calif. In addition, the shop has hired Susan Snyder and Meghan Murphy as senior marketing communications writer and assistant e-marketing and media manager, respectively. Snyder previously served in a similar role at various technology companies, including Vignette, Tivoli and Texas Instruments; Murphy joins the agency from Tuerff-Davis EnviroMedia in Austin, where she was an account assistant.
