NEW YORK Johnson & Johnson said it has named two outsiders to senior posts as it prepares for the retirement of 38-year J&J veteran Andrea Alstrup, corporate vice president of advertising, in February 2006.

Kim Kadlec becomes vp, worldwide media, and Joe McCarthy takes the post of vp, worldwide advertising and marketing communications. Both positions are new to the company.

Kadlec will have responsibility for media planning and buying and manage relationships with the company’s media agencies.
