John Connors III, former chief executive of i-shop Zentropy Partners, and son of Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos CEO Jack Connors, has launched a new agency dubbed Boathouse Group.

Connors, 34, is majority owner of the Dedham, Mass., startup. Chris Boland, who worked with Connors at both Zentropy and Hill, Holliday Interactive, is a minority partner. Connors is looking to add soon a seasoned creative director as a minority owner.

Connors and Boland rowed together some years ago at the University of Pennsylvania, hence the name Boathouse.
