Jiffy Lube said Thursday it has narrowed the field to two agencies — FCB, New York and McCarthy Mambro Bertino in Boston — in the review for it’s $18 million advertising account.

McCarthy Mambro is a 10-person shop formed recently when the principals bought out Square One’s Boston office.

Cut during the semi-final round were Tracy-Locke Partnership, Dallas, and Publicis & Hal Riney, San Francisco. The incumbent agency, The Richards Group, Dallas, did not participate.

“We have looked at all four groups from a creative standpoint,” said a Jiffy Lube representative.
