Ruder Finn last week won The Jamaica Tourist Board’s $1 million public relations account following a review that included Omnicom’s Porter Novelli and Ketchum, and WPP’s Hill & Knowlton. The New York-based independent’s proposal, called “The genius of Jamaica,” focused on the island’s arts, food and natural beauty. The incumbent, Peter Martin Associates in Stamford, Conn., did not defend the business.
