SAN DIEGO – Jack in the Box parent Foodmaker Inc. said it expects a second quarter fiscal loss of between $20-30 million related to an outbreak of food poisoning traced to its restaurants. Company president/ceo Jack Goodall said sales have begun to rebound in recent weeks, after the company resumed regular advertising and began offering discounts on some of its menu items.
