NEW YORK Online publisher iVillage this week reported a revenue decline but less losses for the first quarter.

The parent company of iVillage.com and Women.com posted first-quarter revenue of $12.6 million, down 17 percent from $15.1 million in the year-ago period and 8 percent from Q4 2002. Net loss for the quarter was $6.1 million, or 11 cents per share, a 66 percent improvement over a net loss of $17.9 million, or 34 cents per share, in Q1 2002.
