Interactive marketing company IllusionFusion!, New York, has merged its digital studios company Click 3X with Construct, a San Francisco-based design and technology firm that brings increased broadband capabilities into IF’s fold.
The merged entity, which will employ about 30 people, will be called Click 3X/Construct, an IllusionFusion!
company. It will be based in San Francisco. Construct CEO Lisa Goldman will be president of the new company and executive vice president of IF. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Peter Corbett, IF CEO, said that since the company’s restructuring and name change from the former Media Circus last year, its interactive agencies have been divided into several digital studios, a strategic unit and a group dealing with broadband advertising.
“What we’d always envisioned with that was having the enabling technologies … that would allow us to make this sort of [broadband] future happen,” Corbett said.
