DoubleClick Financing





In one of the largest financing rounds to date for a private Internet company, DoubleClick Inc. last week closed on $40 million in backing from several investors. The funds will be used by the Web marketing services firm for global expansion, product development and acquisitions. The investors included Greylock Management Investment Inc., Bain Capital, ABS Capital, Canaan Partners, Weiss, Peck & Greer Venture Partners and Venrock Associates.
