IPG's Wilmot Shifts to Lowe-Draft Alliance

NEW YORK Gunnar Wilmot, senior vice president, planning and business development at Interpublic Group, is leaving that post to help coordinate a new global alliance between IPG sister shops Lowe and Draft, the agencies said.

Wilmot will take the title of chief operating officer for the endeavor, dubbed Lowe Plus Draft. The CEO and president of the group is Lowe worldwide CEO Jerry Judge; the chairman is Draft CEO Howard Draft.

As a result of the alliance [Adweek, March 31], the shops are expected to share back-office operations and pitch business together.
