NEW YORK Steve Harty, managing partner of The Plus Consulting Group, an Interpublic Group brand consultancy housed at Lowe, has resigned and is leaving this week, a Lowe representative confirmed.

The consultancy, which pulled together resources for clients on an an ad hoc basis, will be dissolved, the rep said.

Harty, 52, did not return calls.

He was recruited in early 2003 to start the consultancy, which took a multi-disciplined approach to brand problems via the resources of Lowe, R/GA, FutureBrand and other IPG shops.
