NEW YORK Interpublic Group board member Richard Goldstein will replace Frank Borelli as presiding director of IPG’s board at the company’s annual shareholder meeting in May, IPG said today.

Goldstein, 64, joined IPG’s board of directors in 2001. He is the CEO of International Flavors & Fragrances and former president and CEO of Unilever’s U.S. operations.

Borelli, 70, a former CFO of Marsh & McLennan, stepped up to presiding director in November 2002, after IPG revealed an accounting imbalance that stemmed from the multiple booking of revenue, chiefly among offices of McCann Erickson in Europe.
