Insurer Moves to Brouillard

NEW YORK Brouillard has landed creative duties on the ACE Limited insurance account, which has estimated billings of $5-7 million, sources said.

The WPP Group agency beat out the only other finalist left in the review, Omnicom Group’s Merkley + Partners, also in New York.

Boston-based Interpublic Group shop Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos split with the client earlier this year, after the agency landed creative and media duties on ACE competitor Liberty Mutual.

Hill, Holliday won the $60 million Liberty Mutual account in the fall, after a review that also included Havas shops Arnold in Boston and Euro RSCG in New York and MDC Partners’ Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners in New York [Adweek Online, Oct.
