BOSTON Inside Out Communications said it has added the six-figure ad account of the Water and Sewer Distributors of America, an organization that promotes waterworks and wastewater industries nationwide.
Efforts for the agency's new client, which is based in Philadelphia, will include Web and collateral materials. Print ads in trade magazines are also planned.
The independent shop in Hopkinton, Mass., was tapped based on its category experience, notably working for the New England Water Works Distributors Association.
Adding the account is important for Inside Out because "we were able to leverage work done at a local level [the Northeast] organization ... which I think is essential for an agency our size [12 staffers] to do to be able to grow," said agency vice president Dean Swartz.
Inside Out won the business following a review that included two other undisclosed finalists, he said.
Earlier this year, the shop picked up assignments from Videre Conferencing in Braintree, Mass.; Continental Biomass in Newton, N.H.; and Applied Metrix in Natick, Mass.
