Initiative Media's Central Region has hired Cathy Richardson as broadcast supervisor and David Greene as account manager. Both will work out of the Chicago office. Richardson will manage local broadcast buying for the Goody's Family Clothing account and Greene will be part of the planning and client services team for Bally Total Fitness. An industry veteran, Richardson most recently served as a media planner and buyer with Bader-Rutter & Associates in Milwaukee. In that role she negotiated national and regional print campaigns for Boise-Cascade and bought television time for Zeneca. Prior to that, Richardson was with D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles in St. Louis for 15 years. At D'Arcy, she worked as a media supervisor and media manager for a variety of clients across key sectors, including Anheuser-Busch, Southwestern Bell and Burger King. Greene has worked in the Chicago advertising community for the past five years, most recently at McCann-Erickson after his tenure at Publicis.
