NEW YORK McCann-Erickson’s U.K. chairman and CEO Tamara Ingram has resigned after 14 months on the job, a representative in the New York office confirmed. Ingram, a 20-year advertising veteran, joined McCann in October 2001 after more than 15 years at Saatchi & Saatchi where she was most closely associated with Procter & Gamble.

The rep declined comment on who would replace Ingram, who reported to McCann-Erickson EMEA chairman and CEO Ben Langdon.

One source described Ingram’s account management style as being “warm, people-oriented and effusive,” and in stark contrast to that of Langdon, who is seen as having a “manufacturing mentality toward producing creative.”
