BOSTON-Ingalls Advertising here has taken over marketing duties for the Boston Celtics.
The agency was awarded the assignment without a formal review, according to an Ingalls representative, who indicated that the Celtics-with new coach Rick Pitino and a revamped nucleus of players-were simply looking to make a change. Ingalls has created a series of radio and print ads running this fall. The tagline: “Get pumped.”
Last year, the Celtics used Holland Mark Martin Edmund in Boston to create a series of television spots designed to reposition the team in the post-Larry Bird era.
