At least six agencies have emerged as contenders for the estimated $25 million advertising account of PNC Bank.
Along with incumbents Ketchum Advertising, Pittsburgh, and McKinney & Silver, Raleigh, N.C., agencies in the hunt include Mullen, Wenham, Mass., W.B. Doner & Co., Southfield, Mich., and New York shops Deutsch and Margeotes/Fertitta + Partners, sources said. Others may also be under consideration.
Denise Thorn Johnson, the new senior vice president, corporate marketing at Pittsburgh-based PNC who is driving the review, did not return calls.
