BOSTON Havas’ Euro RSCG MVBMS Partners on Tuesday said it had withdrawn from the review for the creative portion of Subway’s $220 million ad account.

In a statement, John Berg, president of the New York agency, said, “While the review itself was both a surprise and a disappointment for the agency, we are proud of our contributions to Subway’s extraordinary success and growth (40%) over the past three years.” He concluded: “We felt that our philosophy and approach were in contrast to what Subway is looking for from an agency partner.”
