DALLAS Rick Johnson & Co. captured best of show honors at the New Mexico Addy Awards with a campaign that used imaginative marketing techniques for a contentious Albuquerque road bond program.

RJC, an Albuquerque, N.M., independent with annual billings of $30 million, created the theme “Imagine” to promote the bond issue. The shop posted signs asking voters to imagine how they would benefit from some of the projects covered by the bonds. TV spots showed signs that looked like public traffic signs at key locations around the city, an agency representative said.
