LOS ANGELES Ikea North America has awarded media planning and buying duties for its Los Angeles market to Horizon Media, the agency said.

The independent media services company in Los Angeles picked up the business without a review. Ikea is spending $6 million in this market for its current fiscal year ending in August and is still in the process of determining its budget for next year, according to a representative for the client in Plymouth Meeting, Pa.
