NEW YORK — iDeutsch, the interactive arm of Deutsch, has expanded the Almay Web site to arm consumers with beauty and cosmetics advice to ease in-store buying decisions.

The site ( http://www.almay.com/homeflash.asp ) was updated to reflect the brand’s positioning, “The Pure Source of Beautiful,” the cosmetics company said.

A new section, “Beautiful Ideas,” serves as a source of beauty-care advice and helps consumers choose the appropriate Almay products. Interactive elements woven into the section let consumers research products and find ways to achieve the results they are seeking.
