Nestlé returns its Drumstick brand to television this week with a new spot from Publicis in Mid America.

The 75-year-old ice cream brand is portrayed as a way for parents to share a common heritage with their kids.

A single 30-second television spot created by Publicis’ Dallas office shows youngsters enjoying summertime activities in the woods and on the beach while eating the ice cream cone. The voiceover says, “Hand your kids a Nestlé Drumstick and they’re not growing up too fast; they’re not living in a more complicated world; they’re just a kid eating a Drumstick.
