Hyundai Appoints Hispanic Shop

LOS ANGELES Hyundai Motor America today named Omnicom Group’s del Rivero Messianu DDB its Hispanic agency, according to the company.

The selection of the Coral Gables, Fla., agency follows a review of undisclosed contenders.

“We’re very excited to be working with dRM DDB,” said Robin William Robert, Hyundai’s national manager of Hispanic advertising, in a statement. “Utlimately, dRM DDB was selected for their foresight, creativity and broad range of advertising skills.”

The Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies lists Hyundai as spending more than $30 million advertising on Latino television and print, making it the fifth highest automotive spender, 27th overall, in the Hispanic market.
