Hunton Ascends at McCann

NEW YORK--McCann-Erickson has promoted Chris Hunton as CEO of its London office, effective immediately, a representative for the agency's New York office confirmed. He replaces Tamara Ingram, who resigned earlier this month. Hunton reports to McCann WorldGroup EMEA chairman and CEO Ben Langdon. Hunton joined the agency four years ago from Lowe and most recently held the position of deputy managing director in London.

Hunton's ad career started at Foote, Cone & Belding. He has also worked at Young & Rubicam. Accounts he has worked on include Smirnoff and Weetabix for Lowe and for McCann, MasterCard, Greene King, Bacardi and Bacardi Breezer.
