Freelancers Also Score at the Conn. Art Directors Club Awards
BOSTON–After winning best of show at the Advertising Club of Connecticut awards show just last month, The Hughes Agency last week won the most prizes at the 23rd annual Connecticut Art Directors Club Awards.
Of the 949 entries, 98 were honored at a ceremony last Thursday at the Hastings Hotel in Hartford. The competition honors Connecticut’s advertising and design professionals in 50 categories.
The Hughes Agency in Norwalk won eight of its 12 prizes for its “Bubbles” campaign for Beepwear, a line of Timex watches that incorporate a digital paging system from Motorola.
