The Art Directors Club of Houston honored Rives Carlberg with seven out of 12 trophies presented in the advertising category of its 47th annual awards show earlier this month. The Houston agency picked up a gold, one silver and five bronze prizes.

Among the winning work was the Houston Chronicle’s “Spotted Reading” newspaper campaign by agency creative director Gayl Carlberg, art directors Karen Holland and Paul England and photographer Pam Francis. The series features black-and-white photos of Houstonians “spotted” reading the paper.
