L’Oréal Paris last week signed Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria to a $2 million exclusive worldwide contract, making her the first Latina to follow in the footsteps of stars such as Heather Locklear and Beyonce Knowles. Longoria’s first spot for L’Oréal will tout VIVE haircare products in early May, the company said. L’Oreal did not comment as to whether Longoria will appear in Spanish- or English-language ads.
