NEW YORK--Gotham has landed ad duties on Household International's $15-20 million account, following a review that included fellow New York shops DDB and Saatchi & Saatchi; J. Walter Thompson, Chicago; Martin/Williams, Minneapolis; and The Richards Group, Dallas.
"We selected Gotham because of its demonstrated insight into opportunities inherent in our corporate brand, and its extensive experience in corporate and financial services advertising," said Craig Streem, vice president, corporate relations and communications at the Prospect Heights, Ill. company.
Household, through its HFC and Beneficial brands, provides consumer loans, credit cards and auto financing.
Gotham's pitch team included managing partner Melissa Murphy, chief creative officer Lynn Giordano and group creative director Michael Jordan. The search was managed by MagiKbox, a Cos Cob, Conn. consultancy.
