A steady stream of solid economic news pushed Wall Street to a third straight week of gains. Wholesale inflation was down a hair, while manufacturing and industrial production were up, as was consumer sentiment, according to research from the University of Michigan. Both major indexes were up roughly 2 percent for the week, with the Dow Jones industrial average closing on Friday at 10,640.83, and the Nasdaq at 2,156.78. For the Dow, that’s a four-month high; while the Nasdaq has had seven positive trading days in a row.
