TBWA to Split With Cadbury, Add Mars Business

NEW YORK—TBWA\London is expected to resign pan-European Cadbury business this week so the network can take on additional business from Mars, sources said. TBWA\London, whose sibling, TBWA\Chiat\Day in Playa del Rey, Calif., landed on the Mars roster in May, is expected to land European duties on several pet-food brands, including the estimated $60 million Whiskas brand now at AMV BBDO in London, said sources. But first the shop must sever its ties to Cadbury, which competes with Mars in confectionaries.
