WD-40 Seeks Shop

SAN FRANCISCO—Consumer-products marketer WD-40 Co. is in the final stages of a review for the estimated $4-5 million creative and media duties on its three core brands, sources said. Included in the search are WD-40 and 3-In-One lubricants and hand cleaner Lava. Several undisclosed California shops are participating, according to sources, and four have advanced to a final round. A decision is expected later this month.

North Face Narrows Review

SAN FRANCISCO—The North Face, San Francisco, has a final five in its $3-5 million review: Black Rocket Euro RSCG, Publicis & Hal Riney and Venables, Bell & Partners, all San Francisco; and Seattle shops DDB and Publicis West.
