O’Dea Joins Weber at IPG Marketing Group

BOSTON—Kelly O’Dea has stepped down as president of Foote, Cone & Belding to assist Interpublic Group’s Advanced Marketing Services Group form a “strategic marketing-consulting” practice, said Larry Weber, CEO of AMS. O’Dea does not have a specific title or client responsibilities at the Cambridge, Mass.-based IPG arm that provides public relations, relationship marketing and related services. Rather, O’Dea will remain based in New York, working closely with Weber to “explore all options” on how AMS can become a player in the consulting field, including growing a practice or buying an existing company, Weber said.
