Fletcher Communications Spins Off 2 Divisions

DALLAS—Fletcher Communications has shifted someof its operations into separately branded entities.Whetstone will provide clients of the Waco, Texas, agency with long-term branding initiatives and strategic planning. “We lead [clients] there through unique processes that are as important as sharpening an axe before cutting down a tree,” said Dean Riley, the new general manager of Whetstone. Riley was formerly creative director at Fletcher. The agency has also created Fletcher Impact Team (FIT) to specialize in promotional marketing and public relations.
