Agencies Await Hyundai Cut

LOS ANGELES—Hyundai Motor America is expected to name between five and eight semifinalists as early as this week in the review for its $160 million national creative account, sources said. The car maker issued an RFP to at least 14 agencies, including incumbent Bates USA West in Irvine, Calif. Sources said other shops that received the RFP include California agencies Foote, Cone & Belding in Irvine, Grey in Los Angeles, Ground Zero in Marina del Rey, Lunch Advertising in Santa Monica, Siltanen/Keehn in El Segundo, and Hill, Holliday and Publicis & Hal Riney, both in San Francisco; Wieden + Kennedy in Portland, Ore.;
