Arnold Pursues BellSouth

BOSTON—Arnold has emerged as one of the contenders in BellSouth’s $120 million residential creative and media planning account, sources said. Others in the running include New York shops Bates, Grey and Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners; Leo Burnett in Chicago; Fallon in Minneapolis and incumbents WestWayne in Atlanta and New York-based Merkley Newman Harty & Partners, sources said. Wanamaker Associates, Atlanta, is handling the review for the Atlanta-based telecommunications company; a decision is expected in December.
