Arnold Opts Out of Sam Adams

BOSTON—Arnold executives met with representatives from Boston Beer to discuss the client’s Samuel Adams Boston Lager business, but the agency has chosen not to move forward in the process. “We had a meet and greet with them … it never went beyond that,” said Melissa Lea, senior vice president at Arnold. The Boston agency apparently balked at submitting creative work to “rigorous testing” that involves a series of focus groups, a source said.
