TBWA\C\D Breaks Olympics Campaign

LOS ANGELES—The International Olympic Committee last week launched a global ad campaign themed “Celebrate humanity” for the 2002 Winter Games in Salt Lake City. Created by TBWA\Chiat\Day in Playa del Rey, Calif., and produced in English and French, the campaign consists of eight TV, four radio and four print ads designed to promote Olympic values. Robin Williams provides a voiceover for some of the English TV spots, and two ads address the youth and young-adult market for the first time.
