Ogilvy’s Hall Considers Succession
CHICAGO–Ogilvy & Mather Chicago chairman and chief executive Tom Hall is putting together a creative succession plan in preparation for his eventual retirement. Hall said he plans to step away from his role as executive creative director at the shop and relinquish those responsibilities to deputy executive directors Marlena Peleo-Lazar and Nancy Rice. Hall, 61, said his retirement is not imminent. “I’ve got a lot of juice left,” he said. Rick Boyko,creative head in New York, said only, “Ogilvy is continuously looking for great talent.”
