– Hill, Holliday Battles Deutsch for Lycos
BOSTON–Executives at Lycos Network are mulling a pair of finalists to replace Bozell on the company’s estimated $25-30 million account. Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos, Boston, is in a face-off against Deutsch, which is pitching through both its New York and Boston offices. Even though Hill, Holliday chairman Jack Connors serves on Lycos’ board of directors, Deutsch Boston managing partner Kathy Kiely said her team is confident that “Lycos would make a decision based on what is best for its business and not because someone is a buddy.”
