Bayless/Cronin Set to Win Red Hat
ATLANTA–Red Hat Inc., a developer of Linux-based operating system software and services, is on the verge of naming Bayless/Cronin the winner of its estimated
$20 million advertising account, said sources. The Durham, N.C., company has been on a quiet national search since late summer, but a source familiar with the client said Red Hat chief marketing director Tom Butta had settled on the Atlanta agency. Neither Butta nor agency principals Tim Bayless or Jerry Cronin returned calls by press time.
